Traditional Application Models

I have been writing compiled software applications for seven years, both in an academic setting on my way to my Computer Science Degree and also in a more professional role in researching and writing possible solutions to corporate problems. I have worked with the tools listed on the right.

Web Application Models

I am a highly effective web application architect, involved in the planning, design and execution of successful web applications. I focus on the importance of web standards and accessibility, so that the XML and HTML markup generated is extensible to multiple browsers and platforms. I have immense flexibily with regards to server platform and web application stacks. I am fluent in the web delivery technologies listed on the right.

I also have a grasp of design tools such as Adobe's Photoshop and Illustrator, but I am NOT a visual designer.

Lead Developer

At One Pica, I was the principle web applications architect and technical contact for our clients. I was involved in the planning, delivery, and support of web applications written in a large variety of languages using a broad range of tools. I was in charge of shaping client business rules into real-world application development documentation. After determining the application development path, I would then choose the appropriate software tools and implement the solution; garnering client feedback during the development process. After delivery, I acted as the technical contact for the client, to ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth transition to the new web application.


InterlinkONE

Web Developer

Sept 2003 - Dec 2004

At InterlinkONE, I was responsible for delivering custom software solutions to InterlinkONE's clients through a deadline oriented structure. Custom solutions included warehouse management, customer relationship management, reporting tools and online marketing tools. I was responsible for producing realtime ASP solutions which interacted with TransactSQL backend architecture. Projects required an in-depth knowledge of the major Microsoft development tools, including .NET development studio, Visual SourceSafe, SQL Enterprise Manager. I provided extensive software testing and debugging for projects before, during and after delivery.


EDS

Technical Support Representative

March 2003 - August 2003

With EDS, I was responsible for delivery of Tier 1 technical support through the IT Service Center at Boston Scientific, in Natick, Massachusetts. I provided end user support for one hundred applications, from the core Microsoft products to enterprise solutions such as SAP and PDM. Natick is the corporate headquarters for Boston Scientific, but I also supported international sites, from Ireland to Singapore.
